HOW TO FIND A GOOD SEO EXPERT – PART 7
Welcome to part seven of what to look for when hiring a professional SEO expert.
We’ve covered a lot of ground so far in this blog series, and by now you should have a better understanding of what a proper SEO expert actually is and what they really do.
In fact, it’s more than likely that you’ve already had experience with SEO – whether you got someone to “do a job” on your website, or paid monthly fees to an agency – and if that’s the case, you will be familiar with the feeling many business owners are left with:
A lot of money paid with nothing to show for it.
So how do you avoid getting into this situation again?
They know how to measure their success
Another question you need to ask is “how will you show me when it starts working?” If you can’t see the results yourself, such as when you Google one of your search terms and you’re still nowhere to be found, your SEO expert should be able to display what results there have been, and whether anything needs to be fixed.
SEO experts have a wealth of tools at their disposal – analytics software, heat mapping apps and link tracking programs – that should mean they can provide you with demonstrable data and results on your improved search engine presence.
